Host your wedding celebration or private event at Nella Terra Cellars, nestled in the rolling hills of San Francisco’s East Bay surrounded by vineyards and lush landscaping. Our private estate venue is easily accessible from the 680 freeway yet you feel worlds away once you’ve arrived. Hosting your event at Nella Terra gives your guests a unique San Francisco Bay Area experience they will be sure to talk about for years to come.

Event Season

April through October

Our event season is the best time of year for mostly outdoor events.

Capacity

Our maximum capacity for ceremony & reception is 300 guests.

For small celebrations our outdoor garden patio hosts up to 40 guests.

Investment

On average, our couples invest $20-$40k in our most popular packages for their once in a lifetime day at Nella Terra.

As guests drive through the iron gates onto the tree lined private estate road they’re greeted with the serene peacefulness and cool breeze of Sunol’s rolling hills. A convenient shuttle bus is available just steps away from car parking or guests can choose to walk through the beautiful vineyard to the ceremony grounds. Our outdoor garden-style ceremonies are held on our vibrant green lawn with flagstone paved aisle surrounded by sounds of our waterfall and pond fountains. Brides make a grand entrance down our 74 step native stone, handmade staircase through the middle of our vineyards.

 

Vows are exchanged under the wrought iron pergola. The space is bordered by a peaceful waterfall, brook and pond.

 

A short walkway takes you to our flagstone patio lined with bistro lights. Cocktail hour is held outdoors while guests enjoy the gardens and natural setting. Friendly staff are ready to serve your guests delicious Nella Terra wine, Altamont beer and craft cocktails.

 

After cocktail hour, guests are invited to take their seats in our vast white tent for dinner and dancing. Our staff is ready to assist you in arranging an event to remember from beginning to happily ever after. We truly want your experience to be the Best Day Ever.
